Returns & Warranty

At Bush and the Bee, we believe it's important that you are satisfied with your order. As our products are food and natural products, specific conditions apply to returns and warranty claims.

Returns

You have the right to return your order within 14 days of receipt.

Within this period, you can cancel or return your order without stating a reason, provided the return conditions are met.

Please note: the cost of returning a product is borne by the customer.

To be eligible for a return, the product must be:

unopened, unused, and with the seal intact;
in the same condition as when you received it;
returned in its original packaging;
accompanied by the order number.

Due to food safety regulations, opened food products cannot be returned. Therefore, returns are only accepted for unopened products that are in their original condition.

The cost of returning a product is at the customer's expense.

We ship our glass jars with the utmost care and protection. Therefore, please use the original packaging to properly protect the product during return shipping.

The customer remains responsible for the product until the return shipment has been received by us. We therefore recommend carefully packaging return shipments and sending them with a shipping method that includes track & trace.

If a return shipment is inadequately packaged, gets damaged during transport, or does not reach us, we may not be able to reimburse the return shipment, or only partially. Bush and the Bee is not liable for loss or damage during a return shipment organized by the customer themselves.

Please check your order as soon as possible after receipt. Have you received a damaged product or has an incorrect item been delivered? Please contact us at info@bushandthebee.nl within 72 hours of receipt at the latest.

Please include clear photos of the product, packaging, and any transport damage. Based on these, we will assess the situation and provide a suitable solution. In these cases, any return costs will of course not be your responsibility.

Do you wish to receive a different product? You can return the unopened product, provided the return conditions mentioned above are met, and then place a new order.

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will inform you about the approval of the return. Upon approval, the purchase amount will be refunded to your bank account within 14 days.

Warranty & Quality

At Bush and the Bee, we believe that true mānuka honey should remain as close to nature as possible. We guarantee that:

we do not add artificial substances;
we do not add sugars or syrups;
we do not dilute the honey;
we do not unnecessarily heat the honey;
we do not perform unnecessary processes that affect taste or natural properties.

However, the honey is carefully stirred (creamed) to create a fine, creamy texture and to help prevent rapid, coarse crystallization. This natural process does not alter the purity of the product.

This ensures that mānuka honey remains what we believe it should be: a pure natural product with an authentic origin.

We stand behind the quality of our products and do our utmost to process and ship every order carefully.

Manuka honey is a natural product. As a result, color, taste, texture, and crystallization may vary per batch. These natural properties are not covered by a defect or warranty claim.

MGO values can also vary per batch due to natural variation. This is always at least the value stated on the label. You can find the exact MGO value of your honey in the lab report, which you can request here. These natural properties are also not covered by a defect or warranty claim.

Our products are not medicines and do not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or medical treatment.

In case of allergies, health complaints, pregnancy, breastfeeding, medication use or if in doubt, we advise you to consult a doctor or medical specialist before use.

Honey is not suitable for children under 12 months.
